Our pets love these guys! When our old cat had to be put to sleep, they were really perfect. They all really, really love animals. They schedule well so we never wait long for our appts. We've used the boarding and wouldn't recommend it, but overall, the people are fantastic.

I cannot say enough good things about Prairie Animal Hospital in Coeur d’Alene. My two cats recently had surgery, vaccinations, and boarding there for several days, and the care they received was truly exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the staff was kind, patient, compassionate, and incredibly thorough. They took the time to carefully explain every procedure, answer all of my questions, and make sure I understood all costs ahead of time with complete transparency. I never felt rushed or pressured — only supported and cared for. Most importantly, my cats are recovering extremely well, which says so much about the quality of care they received. It gave me tremendous peace of mind knowing they were in such capable and loving hands while boarding and recovering. I highly recommend Prairie Animal Hospital to anyone looking for trustworthy, attentive, high-quality veterinary care. They truly went above and beyond for my pets, and I am so grateful for their excellent service.

Gave us instructions for for neck and shoulder pain. Take meds for 4 or 5 weeks and on a diet to lose some weight. Very good experience 😃

Every single person in there (front desk, techs, vets) is INCREDIBLY nice and empathetic. The care here is efficient without being rushed. My cat is TERRIBLE at the vet. She’s still not a fan, but I will say she’s been better here than any other vet we’ve been to! I’ve been letting everyone I know that this is the best clinic in town!

They got my girl in for emergency surgery the same day and saved her! The staff kept me informed and were honest about the risks. They were compassionate and attentive throughout the process and follow-up. Price was reasonable.
